Our Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil is the purest expression of the Arbequina variety, grown under organic certification in the olive groves of Mendavia, Navarre.
In the 2-litre format, for those who wish to enjoy ECO La Maja every day. Organically certified Arbequina, harvested at the start of the ripening stage and cold-processed within six hours.
We harvest the olives in late October, when they concentrate their maximum aromatic potential. Cold extraction in less than six hours from harvest guarantees low yields but exceptional organoleptic quality.
The result is a green-yellow oil, dense and full-bodied, with a clean, vibrant and intense aroma. It recalls fresh green fruits: apple, tomato and tomato leaf, grass, artichoke, and to a lesser degree banana and wild berries.
The tin protects the oil from light, keeping all its antioxidant and organoleptic properties intact for longer.
Tasting notes
Intense green fruity. Green apple, tomato, grass, artichoke. Almond-bitter flavour, slightly pungent with a sweet finish.
