"La Maja Arróniz" is an exquisite organic oil produced in a very limited annual edition. The result of a careful selection of Arróniz variety olives protected under the PDO Aceite de Navarra and certified by the Navarre Council for Organic Agricultural Production.
The olive trees grow beside the ruins of the ancient settlement "El Castillar" in Mendavia — a secluded spot where no pesticides or chemicals are used, respecting the natural balance and biodiversity.
Cold extraction preserves all the qualities of the olive: its aromatic virtues and flavour.
The result is a fresh, natural and exclusive EVOO with the unmistakable character of the Arróniz variety.
Presented in an elegant white gift-boxed 50cl bottle, it is an oil for special occasions and palates in search of the authentic.
Tasting notes
Green fruity with Arróniz character: intense herbaceous notes, artichoke, tomato leaf and bitter almond. On the palate, artichoke stands out with medium-high bitterness and pungency.
